At Heart Golf, we believe that golf is more than just a game - it's a way of life. Our Phase IV structured programme offers you a way to get fit after a heart attack sooner rather than later! We recommend that you speak to us for more details.
At Heart Golf , we are dedicated to providing high-quality support to help you play the course safely with your health condition. We offer one-to-one and group sessions to provide light exercise, guidance and advice.
In addition to core strength and flexibility, Pilates can also help golfers improve their balance. Golfers need to be able to maintain their balance throughout the swing.
Heart Golf offers online consultations, fitness sessions, and personalised gym programmes (for you to take into your local gym) with regular support. If you are not technically savvy - we can always send you a copy of our programmes in the post. We'll keep in touch with you over the phone to see how you are getting on.
If you can walk on an incline or up a flight of stairs comfortably then your fitness should allow you to start playing golf in some form.
However, you will need to take into account the following considerations:
• the course terrain;
• how long it will take you to complete your game; and
• possibly using a buggy in the short or long term.
We offer walking groups that involve the same distance as walking a golf course.
See newsletter for latest information on our sessions.
